It takes a lot to be a cartoon addict!
Here are some surefire ways to tell that you've gotten a little too far into
the fandom...
1. You call the unanimated
hockey team members by their animated counterparts' names.
2. You learn the unanimated
Ducks won/lost a hockey game, then go into your room and try and
congratulate/comfort your Ducks action figures on their win/loss.
3. You could swear they
answer you back.
4. Lizards make you
shudder.
5. You try to duplicate the
Mask, to see if there are any cloaked Saurians hiding around.
6. You actually find them.
7. You are very close to
mail-bombing Mattel for not making Tanya into an action figure.
8. You can impersonate a
Duck to a tee.
9. You have an irrational
fear of 40,000 ton lizards.
10. Whenever you hear a
watch alarm go off, you immediately try to pry the top off of yours and find
out what the trouble is.
11. You actually try to
sneak into the Pond.
12. You try and send e-mail
through Drake One.
13. You get a reply.
14. You name your car/van
the Migrator.
15. You eat too many triple
spicy tacos before you go to bed.
16. You walk down the
street, glancing at the buildings suspiciously to make sure it's not the
Raptor in disguise.
17. Your best friend fell
into a dimensional limbo.
18. You refer to your skin
as feathers.
19. You constantly carry
around a puck launcher.
20. You hum the score to
the show in public.
21. Green shadows and
swishing noises nearly scare you to death.
22. You actually have a
hairstyle like one of the Ducks. (Extra points for Duke's or Tanya's)
23. When your riding in the
car and your younger brother is sitting in the front seat, you instruct him
to "Punch it little Bro!"
24. You record and memorize
all the episodes, and lip synch or actually talk along with the show when it
comes on.
25. You board an airplane
and can't help muttering the dialog or humming the music of the Aerowing
launch sequence as it takes off.
26. You yell at the TV to
try and get the attention of your favorite character. (Bonus points when
another character is trying to make a pass at him/her;))
27. When you play baseball
or softball, you stand at your position and start saying, "Become one with
the ball." like Grin.
28. When you hold a tennis
or badminton racket, you pretend it's Duke's sword.
29. You weren't doing
anything bad, you were just "out".
30. You tell your teachers
the Saurians blew up your homework.
31. You show them your
blown up backpack to prove it.
32. You tell you P.E.
teacher that you can't participate in Gym class today because of an injury
you recently received in battle.
33. You've got the scar to
prove it.
34. You start thinking your
house wouldn't look so bad with teal, purple, and grey stripes.
35. You actually cut the
"Mask" from the cardback of the series 1 action figures and wear it around.
